I took some time looking for laptops whose prices don’t exceed P20,000 plus. I just made some walks inside SM City where there are many computer stores to visit at.
Here are the results of my window shopping for affordable laptops:

DVD super multilayer
14.1” TFT LCD

No OS
Strong Point: Dual Core; big storage
Weak Point: No Operating System while the price is high
CONCLUSION :
I chose ECS D25 for its affordability and the price is comparable to Asus EEE PC while the features are much better than that of the latter. It has a DVD writer which is essential for productivity.
While it lacks some of the needed features for connectivity but it can be addressed to by the free webcam along with it’s price package. Also, there are many options available to us for internet connection. You can use dial-up, a DSL bundle, and using a GPRS or 3G cellphone as modem.
Please visit some computer stores for more choices and options.
